Engagement terms
How the Center contracts, protects client material, and supports delivered work.
- Contracting party
- Center for Dynamic Causality CIC, a community interest company registered in the United Kingdom (company number 17248334), is the contracting party for every engagement.
- Confidentiality
- The Center signs a mutual non-disclosure agreement before receiving confidential material.
- Data and results
- Client data and client-specific results stay with the client; verified general methods, free of client data, return to the open DeepCausality project.
- Continuity
- DeepCausality runs under the open governance of the Linux Foundation for Data & AI, so its code and history stay public independently of the Center. As a community interest company, the Center holds its assets under a statutory asset lock that ties them to its stated purpose.
- Support
- Each engagement’s statement of work sets the duration and response times of support for delivered work.
- Interoperability
- DeepCausality is a Rust library. Where a client’s models run in other languages or tools, the scoping call settles how data passes between them.
- Export compliance
- The Center’s public code contains no client data and no controlled technical data. Client models and data stay in the client’s custody, and work that involves controlled data proceeds under the client’s compliance arrangements.
Starting an engagement
The client describes the problem in a few lines, and the Center replies to arrange the first call. Client data and client-specific results stay with the client; verified general methods return to the open DeepCausality project.
