Industries
Industry research
New approaches to long-standing problems in two industries, implemented as working code that is publicly available for review.
The Center develops new approaches in dynamic causality and implements each one as open-source code in DeepCausality, under the MIT license. The examples here apply those approaches to problems that engineering groups in avionics, quantum sensing, and quantum computing already face.
Each example is research code: it runs, reports what it measured, and states the assumptions behind the result. The evidence is simulation or public benchmark data, and every figure can be reproduced from source.
-
Industry I
Avionics
Research on guidance, navigation, and fail-safe decisions when flow, weather, or lost signals change the outcome.
- Re-entry guidance through radio blackout
- Weather dispersion of the blackout
- Powered-descent ignition
- Drone emergency landing
-
Industry II
Quantum sensing and computing
Research on diagnosing the errors of quantum sensors and quantum computers.
- Gravimeter error diagnosis
- Gradiometer light leak
- Checks against published experiments
- Crosstalk attribution
- Code verification beyond simulation
- Error bound for code switching
Working with the Center
The source code and verification records for every example are public. The Center undertakes consulting, contract research, and training for industry partners.
